Dover's Alley Duplex Transitional & Affordable Housing · West End, Atlanta, GA 30310
Dover's Alley brings something unique to the LiveLikeMike Homes portfolio — a fully renovated duplex in one of Atlanta's most historically rich and rapidly evolving neighborhoods. Two sides, eight private rooms, one community. Located in the heart of West End, this co-ed transitional home offers affordable, dignified housing for the people who make Atlanta run but increasingly cannot afford to live here.
Who This Home Is For
Dover's Alley serves the full spectrum of Atlantans navigating housing insecurity — essential workers stretched thin by Atlanta's rising rents, individuals on SSI or SSDI who deserve clean and dignified housing, young adults stepping out of the foster care system for the first time, people returning from incarceration ready to rebuild, and anyone else who simply needs an affordable private room in a safe, well-managed community. No recovery requirement. No complicated process. Just housing.
The Space
The duplex layout gives Dover's Alley a distinct character within our portfolio. With four private rooms on each side — eight rooms total — the home is divided into two mirror-image living environments, each with an identical layout, finish level, and feel. Two intimate communities under one roof, with all the privacy of your own room and all the support of a shared household.
Every room is private. In West End, at $225 a week with everything included — that is genuinely rare.
The Neighborhood
West End is one of Atlanta's most storied communities — a historically Black neighborhood with deep cultural roots, a growing arts scene, and increasing development pressure that is making it harder and harder for working Atlantans to stay. Dover's Alley is our answer to that pressure. By providing affordable housing in West End specifically, we help ensure that the people who belong in this neighborhood can remain in it.
The home sits on the public bus line, with easy access to employment, services, and the broader Atlanta metro. The Beltline, local restaurants, shops, and transit connections are all within reach.
What's Included — $225 per week
Everything. WiFi, utilities, and a fully furnished private room — all covered in one straightforward weekly rate. No surprise bills, no hidden fees. At $225 a week, a resident's full monthly housing cost comes to approximately $900 — a private, furnished, all-inclusive room in the heart of West End for under $1,000 a month. That is not just affordable. That is a lifeline for someone who needs a real address in a real neighborhood to get back on their feet.
Who We Welcome
Dover's Alley is a co-ed community welcoming men and women equally — working-class Atlantans, SSI and SSDI recipients, youth aging out of foster care, individuals in reentry, and anyone committed to being a respectful neighbor in a shared community.
